ANNUAL
MEETING
Upstate
Forever held its 2001 Annual Meeting at the Hopkins Farm, a beautiful
600- acre
tract located along the Reedy River in southern Greenville County.
Upstate Forever members Carol and John Hopkins hosted
the event at their property where seven generations of the Hopkins family
have lived since the late 1700s. Nearly 100 Upstate Forever
members attended the event, feasted on a delicious barbeque lunch provided
by the family, and then enjoyed a tour of the property led by John. Heartfelt
thanks to Carol and John for being such wonderful and generous hosts!
CHRISTMAS
CONCERT
On
December 8, we had a wonderful gathering of Upstate Forever
members at the Meeting House at Keowee State Park to hear Mimi Wyche
sing some Christmas carols. Here everyone joins in on one of the songs.
Mimi was accompanied on the piano by her sister, Sally Wyche Coenen.
