Jason
Van Driesche Named Director of Watershed Conservation
We
are delighted to report that Jason Van Driesche has joined the staff as
Director of Watershed Conservation and is working primarily on the Saluda-Reedy
Watershed project. Jason graduated from Bard College with a degree in
Community, Regional and Environmental Studies, and recently earned two
Master’s degrees from the University of Wisconsin-Madison –
one in Urban and Regional Planning and the other in Land Resources. He
is the author of several articles and co-authored a book with his father
entitled Nature Out of Place: Biological Invasions in the Global Age (Island
Press, 2000). His wife Susan has joined the faculty at Furman.
