 A longtime member of Upstate Forever, Tom Brown is a native of Gaffney and a graduate of Davidson College. After serving in the US Army Special Forces, Tom earned an MBA from Emory University and returned to the Upstate in 1966. His professional credentials also include Certified Public Accountant, Certified Financial Planner, and Personal Financial Specialist. Tom retired as a partner from Pope, Smith, Brown & King, PA in 2009 after 30 years of practicing accounting in Greenville.
Tom has been a member of the Foothills Trail Conference since its inception and has served on its Board of Directors for several years as Treasurer.
