Dick Carr

Dick Carr of Spartanburg is the owner of Piedmont Sourcing, a business consulting firm. He spent nearly four decades in the textile industry with Spartan Mills and also has experience in market research. A native of Gaffney in Cherokee County, Dick is a graduate of Presbyterian College and former U.S. Army Captain. He has served on the boards of the United Way, Spartanburg Chamber of Commerce, and Boys and Girls Clubs; he is currently a member of the Spartanburg Pride Task Force, Broad River Scenic Advisory Council, and Rotary Club and is an Elder at First Presbyterian Church in Spartanburg. In his spare time, Dick enjoys photography, hunting, and outdoor cooking. He and his wife, Bonnie, have three children and eight grandchildren.
