co-founded Delta Woodside Industries and served as its president
and CEO from 1983 to 2000. He now does consulting work through
Maddrey and Associates.
Erwin
is an exemplary leader in both the business and community sectors.
He currently serves on the board of directors
of Blue Cross/Blue Shield of South Carolina, Kemet Corporation,
the Palmetto Project, South Carolina Governor’s School
for the Arts, Urban League of the Upstate, Greenville County
Museum,
and the Alliance for Quality Education.
He
is a graduate and former trustee of Davidson College and also
received an MBA from the University
of North Carolina.
