Lisa Scott Hallo
Urban Rivers Project Associate

Lisa Scott Hallo joined Upstate Forever in the fall of 2007 after spending the previous six years living and working in northern Vermont. She served as the Year-Round Program Director at the Vermont Youth Conservation Corps, a non-profit conservation organization which employs teams of young adults in the completion of high-priority conservation projects throughout Vermont.  Lisa has also worked as a Project Associate with Antioch New England Institute in Keene, New Hampshire, an Environmental Educator at Glen Helen Outdoor Education Center in Yellow Springs, Ohio, and a Student Conservation Association Intern at Arches National Park in Moab, Utah. Her educational background includes a BS in Magazine Journalism and an MS in Environmental Studies.

Lisa currently lives in Central with her husband, Jeff, an Assistant Professor at Clemson University, and their dog, Marley.  In her free time, she loves to travel, jog, hike, spend time with her family, and explore new places in the Upstate. Lisa is thrilled to have found Upstate Forever and is excited to use her experience to accomplish the goals of the Clean Air and Water Program.
