management and low-impact development techniques. Erika’s responsibilities
also include educating municipal governments, the development community, and the
general public on the impacts of non-point source pollution on water quality in
our urban areas.
Erika received a BS in Natural Resource Management from the University of
Wisconsin-Madison and a MS in Water Resource Management from Indiana
University in Bloomington, Indiana. During her Master’s studies she spent a
semester studying International Water Management in The Netherlands.
Erika’s previous work experiences include; Watershed Manager for the Juniata
Watershed in Central Pennsylvania, Associate Researcher at the Great Lakes
Water Institute studying bacterial contamination in the Great Lakes, and as an
AmeriCorps volunteer on the Olympic Peninsula in Washington State. Erika is
thrilled to use her skills and experience to help protect water quality in the
Upstate region of South Carolina.
