Staff:
Dana Leavitt
Director of Land Trust Program

     In his current position with Upstate Forever, Dana is primarily responsible for working with landowners to protect significant properties through conservation easements.

Having been actively involved in conservation initiatives for 25 years, he currently serves as the president of the Conestee Foundation, a non profit organization committed to the restoration of Lake Conestee in Greenville County. He has also served as a founding board member for several other conservation initiatives and as Chairman of the Greenville Chapter of Ducks Unlimited. Dana is passionate about the creation and protection of wildlife habitats and has protected part of his farm and wetlands in Pendleton, SC with a conservation easement. Before joining Upstate Forever, Dana worked in the corporate world with Xerox. He holds a degree in business management from Clemson University.
