The agreement allows forestry and agriculture uses to continue in accordance with best management practices and in a way that achieves the owner’s goal of protecting and enhancing wildlife habitat. The farm has four small residences that may be maintained, updated or replaced, but no additional development is permitted. The agreement contains stringent provisions protecting the riparian buffer of the Reedy, one of the Upstate’s most important rivers.
