Wes Cooler

Wes Cooler lives near where he grew up in the Eastatoee Valley of Pickens County. Big Eastatoee Creek, a trout stream, flows thru his big front yard and Wadakoe Mountain, a wonderland of botanical diversity, rises in his back yard. A Clemson graduate, Wes returned to the Eastatoee Valley in 1996 after a 23-year career as an Infantry officer in the US Army. Since then, he has worked in a variety of volunteer capacities to preserve the natural resources of Upstate South Carolina.
