Kaylee joined Upstate Forever as a Development Associate in 2024. Originally from Durham, North Carolina, Kaylee spent several years living in the Upstate and now lives in Columbia, SC. Kaylee graduated from Brigham Young University with a degree in English, and after wearing many hats in working for animal welfare non-profits, she earned her master's in Non-profit Administration with a concentration in Non-profit Development.

Kaylee now assists Upstate Forever's Development team with annual gift logistics, donor relations, and event planning.

Kaylee enjoys spending time with her husband and their four pets — 1 dog and 3 cats. She also enjoys visiting her family in North Carolina, listening to audiobooks, and playing video games with her husband.
