Rebecca Wade joined Upstate Forever in 2022 with previous experience ranging from wildlife research to environmental education. Rebecca holds a Bachelor of Science in Biology from Furman University, and a Masters of Natural Science and Environmental Education from Hamline University. After working in several roles post-graduation, Rebecca enjoys her role managing grant funds, installing projects to improve water quality, and assisting Upstate Forever staff with local and state policy that helps to safeguard water quality and quantity.

In her free time, Rebecca enjoys being outside running, biking, hiking, and backpacking. Additionally, she loves spending time with her husband and dogs at Greenville’s many breweries and restaurants alike.
