Founded in 1998 by attorney Brad Wyche, Upstate Forever has spent two-and-a-half decades forging relationships with business leaders, municipalities, elected officials, community advocates, and fellow conservation organizations. We are proud of our accomplishments, and are honored to continue to serve the Upstate by working to protect its land, water, and special character.

Nearly 800 acres protected by Upstate Forever in 2023 - January 30th, 2024

In 2023, our nationally accredited land trust permanently protected 783 acres across the Upstate through conservation easements. Along with our partners, additional projects where Upstate Forever was integral to the effort’s success comprise of an additional 2,949 acres. read more
