Have you ever wondered what it means to be a “riverkeeper” or how you could become one? Join author & Chattahoochee Riverkeeper Sally Sierer Bethea in conversation with UF Clean Water Specialist Rebecca Wade at one of two upcoming events!

As a vocal defender of the Chattahoochee watershed (Alabama, Georgia, Florida), Bethea worked to restore the neglected river, which provides drinking water and recreation to millions of people, habitat for wildlife, and water for industries and farms. Rebecca will join Sally to discuss her new book, Keeping the Chattahoochee, in which Sally tells stories that range from joyous and funny to frustrating — even alarming — to illustrate what it takes to save an endangered river.
