Share your feedback on the City of Spartanburg's comp plan

October 6th, 2021

The City of Spartanburg's draft comprehensive plan — Plan Spartanburg — is now available for public review. Click here to download a copy of the draft plan and here to check out the schedule for Mini-Palooza — which starts tomorrow!

What is Mini-Palooza?

The City of Spartanburg and Plan Spartanburg consultant TPUDC will host Mini-Palooza — a series of interactive workshops beginning Thursday, October 7 at 5:30 pm and continuing through Saturday, October 9. Make your plans now to attend and provide your feedback on the draft comp plan.

In-person, virtual attendance, and livestream venues

Let your voice be heard. Choose to attend an in-person workshop for your neighborhood and/or Mini-Palooza's special topic sessions. If you live, work, or play on the north, south, east, or west side of the City, or downtown, Mini-Palooza has a workshop for you.

Virtual attendance is an option for the four topical workshops listed below, but you must register here in advance to join:

  • Cultural Resources - Thurs. Oct. 7, 7:30 pm - 8:30 pm
  • Land Use, Community Character, & Housing - Fri. Oct. 8, 11:00 am - 12:00 pm
  • Transportation - Fri. Oct. 8, 3:00 pm - 4:00 pm
  • Economic Development, Downtown Spartanburg, & Commercial Corridors - Sat. Oct. 9, 11:00 am - 12:00 pm

You can also email comments on the draft plan toplanspartanburg@cityofspartanburg.org through October 29. The City will gather and review comments and pass them to the TPUDC team to revise the draft plan. Ultimately, the City of Spartanburg Planning Commission will consider recommending a draft Plan Spartanburg to Spartanburg City Council for final adoption in 2022.
